Our Story
The Roster was built on a simple observation: Austin is full of former Division I athletes with elite skills and no infrastructure to monetize them. Meanwhile, consumers want coaching from someone who actually played at a high level — not just a certified trainer.

Division I athletes represent the top 2% of collegiate competitors. They've spent years under elite coaching, in elite facilities, competing at the highest amateur level. That experience is irreplaceable.
When a former D1 wide receiver teaches you route running, or a Big 12 point guard walks you through court vision — that's not just instruction. That's institutional knowledge passed directly from someone who lived it.
The Roster's D1 requirement isn't gatekeeping. It's a trust mechanism. Every coach on our platform has been verified, and every consumer knows exactly what they're getting when they book a session.
Every coach on The Roster is a verified former Division I college athlete. That credential is our trust mechanism — not a marketing angle.
We're building Austin's premier coaching community. Sessions happen at parks, tracks, courts, and fields — no gym required.
Athletes keep 80% of every session. We take 20% to handle booking, payment, and platform operations. Simple and transparent.
We launched in Austin because we believe in building deep before building wide. Every coach and client is part of the same community.
Phase 1 is Austin. Phase 2 is every major city. Long-term, The Roster evolves into a broader skill economy marketplace — connecting anyone with a unique skill to someone who wants to learn it. D1 athletes are the foundation. The platform is the future.
